Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Perform floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to maintain spotless and safe flooring throughout the property.
- Handle laundry duties by washing, folding, and organizing linens, towels, and guest clothing as needed.
- Maintain public areas by tidying lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other shared spaces to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Use janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols for industrial cleaning procedures.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to hospitality cleaning practices to protect yourself and guests.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly desirable; familiarity with hospitality standards is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and janitorial equipment operation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service with a positive attitude.
- Experience with industrial cleaning or housekeeper management is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
