Position Summary:
The Radiology Technologist provides quality patient care when performing diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention while adhering to radiation safety principles.
Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.

Current Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license.

Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.

Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Assess patient needs and provide age-appropriate care throughout the imaging process.

Verify patient identity, obtain clinical history, and maintain accurate documentation.

Position patients and imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

Explain procedures and instructions to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation.

Exercise professional judgment and maintain a patient-centered approach to care.

Adhere to radiation safety standards and all applicable state and federal regulations.
