About the Role
Curbs Gone Wild and The Holly Jolly Lighting Company are looking for a motivated, professional, and self-driven Territory Sales Representative to manage and grow our Montgomery County / Upper NW Washington, DC sales territory.
This is a commission-based sales position with strong earning potential for someone who can follow up consistently, manage a sales pipeline, communicate professionally with homeowners, and sell high-value curb appeal services.
The right candidate will sell decorative concrete curbing, holiday lighting, and permanent lighting solutions to residential and light commercial customers throughout one of the strongest premium home improvement markets in the DMV.
Assigned Territory
This position covers Montgomery County, Maryland and Upper NW Washington, DC, including but not limited to:
Rockville, Potomac, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Kensington, North Bethesda, Garrett Park, Silver Spring, Wheaton, Olney, Brookeville, Sandy Spring, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Clarksburg, Damascus, Upper NW Washington, DC, and surrounding communities.
This is a premium territory with established neighborhoods, high-value homes, mature landscapes, and customers who regularly invest in exterior property improvements.
What You’ll Sell
This position represents two growing companies with complementary services.
Curbs Gone Wild sells and installs decorative concrete landscape curbing that improves curb appeal, defines flower beds, reduces maintenance, and gives properties a clean, finished look.
Products and services include:
- Decorative concrete landscape curbing
- Slant and Super Slant curb profiles
- Stamped and colored concrete borders
- Tree rings and landscape bed borders
- Driveway accents
- Downspout and splash block integrations
- Residential and light commercial curb appeal upgrades
The Holly Jolly Lighting Company sells and installs professional holiday lighting and permanent lighting solutions.
Products and services include:
- Holiday lighting design and installation
- Roofline lighting
- Trees, wreaths, garland, columns, and specialty displays
- Seasonal maintenance
- Takedown and storage
- Permanent roofline lighting
- Color-changing lighting systems
- Year-round architectural and curb appeal lighting
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage assigned leads within the Montgomery County / Upper NW territory
- Respond quickly to new customer inquiries
- Schedule and complete estimates and consultations
- Present curbing, holiday lighting, and permanent lighting options
- Educate customers on products, value, installation process, and available upgrades
- Create accurate proposals through DripJobs CRM
- Follow up with open estimates until they are sold, lost, or moved into nurture
- Follow up with cold leads, old leads, missed opportunities, and unsold proposals
- Cross-sell services between curbing and lighting customers
- Protect company pricing, margins, and brand reputation
- Track objections, lost reasons, and next steps
- Maintain accurate notes, customer information, and follow-up tasks in DripJobs
- Provide clear job details and handoff notes for production and installation crews
- Ask for referrals, reviews, and neighborhood opportunities
- Help improve follow-up messaging, drip campaigns, and sales processes
DripJobs CRM Responsibilities
DripJobs is a critical part of this position. Every lead, estimate, proposal, follow-up, and customer interaction must be tracked properly.
The Sales Representative is expected to use DripJobs daily to:
- Update lead status
- Add notes after customer interactions
- Schedule follow-up tasks
- Track appointments and proposals
- Identify customer interest in curbing, holiday lighting, permanent lighting, or multiple services
- Document objections and lost reasons
- Move cold leads into the proper nurture stage
- Track cross-sell opportunities
- Keep the sales pipeline clean and accurate
No active lead should be left without a next step. Strong CRM habits are required for full commission and bonus eligibility.
Cold Lead and Follow-Up Expectations
This role is not just about running fresh leads. The Sales Representative is also responsible for helping recover missed opportunities and preventing revenue from leaking out of the sales pipeline.
This includes following up with:
- Leads that did not schedule an estimate
- Facebook or website leads that failed to convert
- Missed calls
- Unsold curbing estimates
- Unsold holiday lighting estimates
- Unsold permanent lighting estimates
- Customers who objected to price or timing
- Past curbing customers who may want lighting
- Past lighting customers who may want curbing
- Holiday lighting customers who may be ready for permanent lighting

- Ability to plan appointments and manage time effectively

- Leadership qualities and desire to grow with a rapidly expanding company
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following is helpful but not required:
- Home improvement sales
- Landscaping or outdoor living sales
- Construction or exterior service sales
- Holiday lighting or permanent lighting sales
- Roofing, siding, windows, gutters, or exterior services
- Door-to-door or neighborhood-based sales
- CRM-based sales roles
- Commission sales
- Territory sales or account management
Specialty product training will be provided.
Compensation
This is a commission-based sales position with strong earning potential.
Sales Representatives can earn commission on:
- Decorative concrete curbing sales
- Holiday lighting sales
- Permanent lighting sales
- Add-ons and upgrades
- Cross-sold services
- Reactivated cold leads
- Past customer opportunities
Additional bonus opportunities may include:
- Monthly sales volume bonuses
- Cross-sell bonuses

- Speed-to-lead bonuses
- Average ticket bonuses
- Customer reactivation bonuses
Top performers will have the opportunity to grow into senior sales, field sales lead, territory manager, or sales management roles as the company expands.
