We are a wholesale beverage distributor.
Operates an electric pallet jack, walkie rider and/or forklift to select, pick and load product on pallets for distribution to retail customers. Maneuvers, picks, moves and loads product on static and flow racks.
Very fast paced production based position which pulls orders and loads on pallets using and interacting with a voice pick order selection computer system. Uses a printer to print load license plates for pallet orders.
Loads product on pallets in quick, safe, organized and efficient way to ensure the pallet and/or products are not damaged during transport.
Moves finished pallets to be weighed and shrink wrapped for final destination on route delivery trailer.
Rotates products in the warehouse to ensure the oldest product is loaded first; enforces code date policies. Interacts with VIP Location Based Inventory Computer System to assist with movement of oldest code date first.
Must be physically able to safely operate a variety of equipment including a forklift, pallet jack, walkie rider, hand truck, etc. Standing, bending, stooping and lifting required. Production and accuracy based pay scale.
Must be able to exert up to thirty pounds of force frequently and occasionally move / lift weights of up to 100 pounds. Will constantly lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Hours: (M - F) Shift starts at 12 p.m. and works until all orders are picked. An eight hour day is the target but may work more or less each day. Since this is a production based position, we will guarantee pay for 40 hours each week if work hours are less and will pay OT for any hours worked over 40 in a set work week.
Compensation will include hourly pay, and .04 cents for each case picked as well as an accuracy bonus.
