SAT & ACT Tutor | BrightMap Education
BrightMap Education is hiring an experienced SAT and ACT tutor with a proven record of helping high school students achieve meaningful score improvement and reach their target scores.
We are looking for a tutor who deeply understands SAT and ACT strategy, pacing, diagnostics, question patterns, content review, and individualized score improvement plans. The ideal candidate is confident, organized, results-driven, and able to help students build both skill and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Tutor students 1:1 and in small group sessions for SAT and ACT preparation
- Create targeted score improvement plans based on diagnostic results
- Teach test-taking strategy, pacing, content review, and problem-solving methods
- Track student progress and communicate updates clearly
- Support students with structure, accountability, and measurable results
- Participate actively in the BrightMap Facebook community by answering relevant parent questions and sharing helpful test prep insights
- Help create promotional and educational content, including short videos, tips, posts, and resources related to SAT and ACT preparation
Qualifications
- Strong SAT and ACT tutoring experience required
- Proven success helping students improve scores
- Excellent communication and teaching skills
- Ability to motivate high school students
- Comfortable creating educational or promotional content
- Reliable, professional, and student-centered
Pay
- $40/hour for 1:1 tutoring
- $60/hour for group sessions
