Job Title: Medical Assistant *Overtime Available - Weekly Payments*
Pay Range: $18/hr to $21/hr
Shifts Available: 8am to 4:30pm (5*8 - Monday to Friday)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Duration: 13+ Weeks

Required:
- BLS.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program.
- Two (2) to five (5) years of Medical Assistant or other relevant experience.
Job Duties:
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, treatments, and routine clinical procedures.
- Room patients and obtain/document vital signs, medical histories, medications, and other pertinent health information.
- Accurately update and maintain patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, EKGs, vaccinations, and suture/cast removal as assigned.
- Process medication refills, prior authorizations, patient calls, and MyChart messages.
- Maintain efficient patient flow by preparing exam rooms, scheduling appointments, and assisting with check-in/check-out.
