Summary
The Store Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining product quality, managing staff performance, controlling costs, and driving sales. This role supports the General Manager by ensuring all operational standards, food safety requirements, and company policies are consistently followed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
☆Operations Management
Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth shift execution.
Ensure compliance with Cold Stone Creamery standards, policies, and procedures.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
Monitor product quality, portion control, and presentation.
Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed.
Protect company assets and maintain store security.
☆Team Leadership
Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees.
Coach and develop Shift Leads, PICs, and Crew Members.
Conduct performance evaluations and corrective actions as needed.
Build a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Lead by example and maintain high performance expectations.
Ensure proper staffing levels during peak and non-peak periods.Monitor labor costs and productivity.
☆Customer ServiceDeliver the "Ultimate Ice Cream Experience" to every guest.
Resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally.
Maintain a fun, welcoming, and energetic atmosphere.
Ensure team members provide exceptional service at all times.
☆Inventory & Ordering
Manage inventory levels and conduct regular counts.
Order products, supplies, and packaging materials.
Receive deliveries and verify accuracy.
Minimize waste and control food costs. Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to improve profitability.
☆Production & Product Quality
Ensure adequate production of ice cream, cakes, cupcakes, waffles, shakes, and other products.
Verify recipes and procedures are followed consistently.
Maintain proper product rotation and freshness standards.
Qualifications:
-Strong leadership and communication skills.
-Experience with scheduling, inventory, and cash handling.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
-Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
