Pharmacy Technician – Immediate Opening
Prime Rx Pharmacy is seeking a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our team at our new St. Petersburg location.
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in growing their career in pharmacy. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Previous pharmacy experience is a plus, but we are willing to consider motivated candidates who are dependable, organized, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the pharmacist with day-to-day pharmacy operations
- Enter and process prescription information accurately
- Assist with prescription preparation and filling under pharmacist supervision
- Communicate professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies
- Assist with prescription insurance processing and resolving basic billing issues
- Answer telephone calls and assist patients with prescription questions and refill requests
- Maintain accurate patient and prescription information
- Assist with inventory, medication ordering, and stocking
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy workspace
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Follow pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal requirements
- Perform other pharmacy-related duties as assigned
