About the Role
Verandah Sportswear is a B2B producer of quality branded wearables, gifts, and giveaways. From our factory in Garden City (Boise area), we decorate, pack, and ship orders to customers across 44 states. Our highest-volume items include shirts, jackets, and hats.
We are hiring Seasonal Production & Fulfillment Associates to support our team through the busy holiday season (mid-September through December 20, 2026). This is a hands-on production and warehouse role. You will work across heat press / decoration, picking, packing, quality checks, and shipping based on daily priorities. The strongest team members treat every station as their own and keep orders moving accurately and on time.
This is a physically demanding job. You will be on your feet most of the day (12,000+ steps is common) and must be able to lift boxes up to 30 pounds.
This is an excellent entry point if you want to move into manufacturing, production, or warehouse fulfillment from a service background (retail, hospitality, food service, or similar). Prior warehouse experience is helpful but not required — we provide on-the-job training and value reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Core Duties
- Set up, operate, and maintain heat press equipment (temperature, pressure, and timing)
- Verify designs and order details against the order sheet before and after decoration
- Accurately pick products from inventory using the order form; confirm items and quantities match exactly
- Perform quality checks on finished goods and completed orders before packing
- Pack orders carefully, apply correct shipping labels, and include all required documentation
- Process and ship completed orders using UPS, FedEx, and USPS
- Create labels and manage shipments through the Shopify shipping interface
- Organize pick areas, packing racks, and workspaces for efficiency and accuracy
- Report shortages, defects, or delays immediately so the team can resolve them
- Float between production, picking, packing, and shipping as daily volume requires
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow all equipment safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail — ability to match order sheets exactly
- Reliable attendance and ability to work the full seasonal window through December 20
- Clear communication; comfortable flagging issues quickly
- Ability to work collaboratively and jump in wherever the team needs help
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Preferred Experience
- Prior work in production, fulfillment, warehouse, or apparel decoration (helpful but not required)
- Familiarity with shipping platforms such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, and Shopify shipping
- Experience operating heat press, embroidery, or similar equipment
- Background in retail, hospitality, food service, or other fast-paced service roles
- Comfort with high-volume environments during peak seasons
Schedule & Details
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Seasonal role: mid-September through December 20, 2026
- Must be available for the full seasonal window
