Position Purpose: Teach Computer and Keyboarding at the Middle School Level.
Starting Salary: 50,500
Qualifications:

Must meet Kansas State Department of Education licensure requirements for Secondary Education.

Any secondary content area endorsement will meet the requirements for this position.

Speaking, hearing, visual, reading, writing, word processing, mobility, consistency of temperament, ability to work with a variety of problems at the same time, stamina for working long hours and in stress-producing environments.
Performance Responsibilities:

Manages assigned labs

Serves as a resource to classroom teachers for integration of instructional technologies with approved district curricula

Maintains records, collects data, and completes reports as requested

Develops, updates, and publishes the school’s website
- Assist teachers in publishing web sites

Demonstrates technology leadership skills through building activities

Incorporates use of appropriate technology

Effectively implements the district-adopted technology curriculum

Modifies teaching to meet individual students needs

Terms of Employment:
9 months; salary and work year to be determined by the Board of Education.
Evaluation:
Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board policy on evaluation of Certified Personnel.
