Warehousing Etc is a family-owned third-party logistics (3PL) company specializing in container transloading, cross-docking, short-term warehousing, and distribution throughout the Tampa Bay area.
Our business is growing, and we're looking for an experienced warehouse professional who takes pride in doing quality work and wants to grow with our company.
This is not an entry-level warehouse position.
We're looking for someone who already understands warehouse operations, has forklift experience, and enjoys staying busy in a fast-paced environment where every day has a clear purpose.
What This Position Looks Like
This is a hands-on warehouse position.
While forklift experience is required, this is not a forklift-only job.
You'll spend your day operating a forklift, unloading ocean containers, hand-unloading loose freight, building and wrapping pallets, staging customer shipments, loading outbound trucks, organizing inventory, and helping keep warehouse operations running smoothly.
You'll regularly climb on and off a forklift throughout the day and work alongside a small team that takes pride in getting the job done right.
If you're looking for a position where you'll sit on a forklift all day, this is not the right fit.

Primary Responsibilities
- Unload ocean containers and trailers containing pallets, crates, oversized freight, and loose cartons.
- Hand-unload freight when necessary
- Load outbound trucks accurately and safely.
- Pick customer orders.
- Stage freight for outbound shipments.
- Build, wrap, label, and organize pallets.
- Verify shipment quantities and product labels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
- Perform basic warehouse computer transactions using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Work closely with the warehouse manager and ownership to complete customer projects safely and on schedule.
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift.

Required Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience required.
- Previous sit-down forklift experience required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working in a non-air-conditioned warehouse in Tampa, including inside trailers and ocean containers.
- Comfortable performing both forklift operation and manual warehouse work throughout the day.
- Basic computer skills, including email and web-based software.
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience unloading ocean containers.
- Experience with transloading, cross-docking, or LTL freight.
- Experience using Warehouse Management System (WMS) software.
- Inventory control experience.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
