What You'll Do
- Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging classroom where children feel safe and valued.
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and hands-on learning experiences.
- Foster language development, early literacy, social-emotional growth, and independence.
- Encourage positive behaviors using developmentally appropriate guidance techniques.
- Support milestones such as self-help skills and potty training in partnership with families.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and licensing-compliant classroom environment.
- Build strong, professional relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Observe and document children's development while communicating progress with families.
- Work collaboratively with a supportive teaching team to create exceptional learning experiences.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet Colorado Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualifications or be eligible to qualify under the Colorado Department of Early Childhood licensing requirements.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to lift, bend, sit on the floor, and actively engage with children throughout the day
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to successfully complete all Colorado background and licensing requirements
