About Cortina
Cortina Dermatology & Aesthetics is a physician led dermatology practice in Nashville providing medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, laser and device treatments, and advanced aesthetic skin care. Led by a board certified dermatologist, our model combines clinical rigor with a modern, highly attentive patient experience.
Providers have strong clinical support, thoughtful scheduling, advanced technology, and meaningful opportunity to build a patient panel. As we expand in the Nashville market, we are looking for providers who want to grow with the organization.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner with meaningful cosmetic dermatology or medical aesthetics experience to join our Belle Meade team. The ideal candidate is comfortable performing cosmetic consultations and injectable treatments and wants to build a substantial cosmetic patient base while also supporting medical dermatology.
This role is designed for a provider with excellent clinical judgment, strong patient communication, a refined treatment philosophy, and the motivation to build lasting patient relationships. Success means excellent outcomes, thoughtful treatment plans, and a productive schedule without compromising care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive cosmetic consultations and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals, anatomy, skin health, and appropriate clinical indications.
- Perform cosmetic injectable treatments, including neuromodulators. Experience with dermal fillers is strongly preferred.
- Provide laser and device based treatments based on experience, training, and clinical privileges. Our current technology portfolio includes Fraxel, Clear + Brilliant, DermaV, and Sofwave.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common medical dermatologic conditions and perform appropriate screenings and minor procedures within scope and training.
- Build comprehensive care plans that may incorporate injectables, devices, prescription therapy, medical grade skincare, and aesthetic services when clinically appropriate.
- Educate patients clearly on treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, aftercare, preventive care, and ongoing skin health.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and reliable follow up.
- Collaborate closely with our dermatologist, medical assistants, aesthetician, and front office team to deliver a coordinated patient experience.
- Contribute to practice growth through trusted patient relationships, retention, and awareness of Cortina's medical and cosmetic capabilities.
Qualifications
Required
- Valid Tennessee Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
- Current national board certification appropriate for area of practice.
- Prior hands on experience in cosmetic dermatology or medical aesthetics.
- Demonstrated experience independently performing neuromodulator injections and cosmetic consultations.

- Ability to meet applicable licensure, credentialing, and payer enrollment requirements.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and timely clinical documentation.
Strongly Preferred
- Experience with dermal fillers and advanced injectable techniques.
- Experience with laser, energy based, or other device treatments.
- Medical dermatology experience, including evaluation and treatment of common dermatologic conditions.
- Experience in a physician led dermatology, plastic surgery, or high quality medical aesthetics environment.
- Experience with ModMed or a similar dermatology focused EMR.
