The Grants Administrator is responsible for supporting faculty, administrators, and staff in all aspects of grants and research funding. This role encompasses support of pre-award and post-award grant activities, including identifying funding opportunities, developing competitive proposals, ensuring compliance with institutional and funding agency policies, and overseeing financial and administrative requirements. The successful candidate will serve as a vital link between external funding agencies and the university community and the strategic vision, fostering collaboration and enhancing research opportunities.
Master's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
Three years of experience in a related field required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Extensive experience in project management and developing and analyzing spreadsheets (Excel) and databases.

Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with federal grant proposal development and federal grant administration policies.

Ability to prepare reports and analyze funding guidelines and advise faculty on funding strategies.

Experience building and fostering relationships between offices and departments as well as with outside collaborators and agencies.

Strong and demonstrated analytical and deductive reasoning skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure both with close supervision and independently.
