Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized ARF Administrator to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our ARF home. Your proactive approach and exceptional organizational skills will support daily administrative functions and ensure the home operates harmoniously.
*As this is a new facility, an ARF Admin Certificate and RSS training are mandatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training & Accountability: The Program Director ensures that all program staff are carrying out their daily functions and responsibilities through continuous monitoring, training, and accountability.
- Staffing & Scheduling: The Program Director is responsible for ensuring that the program operates within its Staffing Guidelines and maintains adequate coverage on every shift, at all times (incl. Timekeeping).
- Compliance: The Administrator ensures strict adherence to ARF policies, regulatory standards, and licensing requirements, , ensuring their program remains fully licensed, credentialed, accredited, and in good standing.
- Employee Management: The Program Director actively participates in hiring, interviewing candidates within staffing guidelines, and oversees disciplinary actions and terminations, ensuring compliance with HR policies.
- Emergency Management: The Program Director is responsible for promptly communicating and resolving any client issues/crisis.
- Performance and Cost Management: The Program Director monitors key program metrics to drive performance improvements and ensures cost control by adhering to budgetary guidelines, including staffing, scheduling, and operational expenses.
- Prior experience as a receptionist or personal assistant is advantageous for this role
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 1-year prior experience providing direct supervision and special services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Attainment of at least 21 years of age, as verified by a current California driver’s license.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Possess a current level 6 ARF Administrator certificate issued by the California Department of Social Services.
- Knowledge of, and ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Ability to maintain or supervise the maintenance of financial and other records.
- Ability to establish the facility's policy, program, and budget.
- Ability to recruit, employ, train, and evaluate staff, and to terminate employment when necessary.
- Must possess valid First Aid and CPR certifications prior to employment, and must renew such certifications, as needed.
- Completion of Pro-ACT training.
- Shall pass background check before employment.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
