We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team at Orchard Brooke Assisted Living Center. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our residents by accurately administering medications and providing exceptional care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans and under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration, including dosages and timing
- Monitor residents' responses to medications and report any adverse reactions to nursing staff
- Assist with vital sign checks, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and colleagues
