Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail, strong cleaning skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift and move items as necessary.
