Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join our 100% Employee Owned dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, set up, and program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines such as lathes and milling machines to produce precision components. Your expertise in machining processes, blueprint interpretation, and technical troubleshooting will ensure the highest quality standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment and contribute to innovative production projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machinery including CNC lathes and milling machines, primarily using Fanuc controls, ensuring efficient and accurate production runs
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications to produce precise components
- Program CNC machines utilizing CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and manual CNC programming techniques to optimize machining processes
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces accurately using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs)
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances meet specifications
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity
Skills
- Extensive experience with CNC programming for both milling and turning operations
- Proficiency in reading complex blueprints and applying GD&T standards for precise manufacturing
- Strong mechanical knowledge of machining tools, tooling selection, and setup procedures
- Skilled in using SolidWorks and CAD software for design interpretation and modifications
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, forklifts, and other manufacturing machinery safely
- Basic math skills for measurement calculations and process adjustments
- Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies to streamline workflows

Available Shifts
2nd - Mon - Thurs 4pm - 2am
4th - Fri - Sun 6am - 6pm (work 36 but receive 40)
