Job Title: Flatwork Scheduler
Job Summary:
A flatwork scheduler is a professional responsible for managing the day-to-day schedule of our flatwork field labor. This person serves as the center point of communication between our builders and our field supervision. Their main duties include proactively seeking input from field supervision on expected completion dates, providing accurate expectations on start dates to our builders, and ordering material from our vendors for each project.
Responsibilities:
- Project Evaluation: Reviewing plans, scope of work, materials required, project timelines, and project progress.
- Communication: Coordinating job schedules with builders, field supervisors, estimators, and project managers. Communication should extend throughout our entire scheduling department to ensure a seamless transition from phase to phase on all projects.
- Documentation: Maintaining notes from conversations held with builders, field supervisors, estimators, project managers, and vendors. Entering and submitting purchase orders for job materials.
- Vendor Coordination: Placing orders for concrete, gravel, and any other materials needed to complete projects and addressing specific delivery instructions

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift 15 to 20 pounds at a time
