Job Summary
As a Team Member at Thai Bird Restaurant, you'll play an essential role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. You'll assist with maintaining restaurant cleanliness, supporting daily operations, and helping ensure every customer has a great experience. 3 years restaurant experience is required—we provide training for motivated individuals who are eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and sanitary dining room, kitchen, and work areas.
- Sweep, mop, wipe down surfaces, and remove trash throughout your shift.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch areas following food safety and sanitation standards.
- Restock supplies, including napkins, utensils, condiments, and cleaning materials.
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties.
- Support kitchen and front-of-house staff as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
- Follow all restaurant safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Work collaboratively with teammates to provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is preferred.
