The NCCC Main Entrance Safety and Behavior Support will promote a safe environment for students and staff through presence, visibility, and relationship building. The position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure school environment by monitoring and controlling access at the main entrance and monitoring other access points. This position serves as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and students, combining strong security and situational awareness with professional communication and judgment.Qualifications: 1.Minimum of high school diploma, with a minimum of two years relevant experience in regulating access to buildings, monitoring and surveillance, and ensuring the wellbeing of occupants and the buildings. A behavior interventionist, safety, or security background preferred.2.Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills needed.3.Competence in/or ability to learn PowerSchool, Educators Handbook, visitor security system, and other relevant school software.4.Ability to multitask, remain composed under stressful situations, and interact with students, staff, families, and visitors with professionalism and in a positive manner.

Salary & Benefits: As per Support Staff Negotiated Agreement.
