Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Class C Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a standard passenger vehicle to transport clients, goods, or equipment while providing exceptional guest services and maintaining a high standard of professionalism. Duties
- Safely operate a Class C vehicle, including manual transmission models, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide outstanding guest services by assisting passengers with boarding and ensuring a comfortable experience.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Deliver goods or equipment to designated locations, including parking areas, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary to load or unload cargo or equipment safely.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate schedules and address any concerns during transit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, both inside and outside, during daily operations.
- Support outdoor work activities as needed, demonstrating flexibility in various environmental conditions.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating standard passenger vehicles; dealership or delivery driver experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive service procedures and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to perform manual transmission driving confidently and handle heavy lifting tasks safely.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
- Prior outdoor work experience demonstrating adaptability in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of parking regulations and local traffic laws.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and delivery processes.
