American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU position requiring 2 years of PICU or CVPICU experience and OH or Compact RN licensure.

Work in the Cardiovascular Pediatric ICU (CVPICU) of a children's hospital
-
Care for pediatric patients including congenital heart disease/repair, post cardiac surgery, and post cardiac catheterization cases
-
13-week assignment on night shift (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30)

Floating required to NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and Med-Surg units as needed
-
Active OH State or Compact RN license required in hand

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
-
Minimum 2 years of CVPICU or PICU experience required in a pediatric hospital setting

2 supervisory references required, with at least 1 from a manager/supervisor titled reference
-
Skilled in respiratory care including ventilator management, ETT/NT suctioning, tracheostomy care, and ABG interpretation

Skilled in cardiovascular care including hemodynamic monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and interpretation
-
Experience with IV therapy, arterial line management, and central line care required

ECMO, CRRT, and VAD (LVAD/RVAD) experience preferred
-
Experience with continuous sedation and IV vasopressors required

Pediatric dosage calculation skills required

Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to pediatric patients with complex cardiovascular conditions

Must be prepared to float to different units depending on assignment needs

Candidates must not have worked in a permanent role at the facility within the last 2 years

Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are not eligible for this position
