Responsibilities
- Assist residents or patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Administer prescribed medications following strict protocols, ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems while maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration and report any abnormalities promptly to nursing staff.
- Document all patient interactions thoroughly using EMR/EHR systems; ensure medical records are accurate and up-to-date.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Medication Technician with current state licensure.
- Proven experience working with geriatric patients in settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or long-term care environments.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like ECP; experience managing medical documentation efficiently.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) including CPR certification.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow infection control protocols diligently.
- Strong communication skills to engage with patients of all ages

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
