As our operations continue to expand, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support material coordination, shipment scheduling, inventory tracking, vendor communication, and day-to-day logistics activities.
Position Overview
The Logistics Coordinator plays an important role in coordinating the movement of equipment, materials, supplies, and project-related resources. This position works closely with vendors, suppliers, transportation providers, project teams, operations personnel, and management to help ensure materials and deliveries are available when needed and logistics activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, deliveries, pickups, and material transfers.
- Schedule transportation services and coordinate delivery appointments with carriers and vendors.
- Monitor shipment status from pickup through final delivery and communicate updates to internal teams.
- Maintain accurate shipment records, inventory information, purchase documentation, and logistics reports.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding product availability, order status, delivery schedules, and shipping requirements.
- Track equipment, materials, tools, and supplies associated with ongoing projects.
- Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, material reconciliation, and inventory reporting.
- Prepare shipping labels, packing documentation, delivery records, and other logistics paperwork.
- Review shipping and receiving documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Support project teams by coordinating the timely availability and movement of required materials and equipment.
- Identify shipment delays, shortages, discrepancies, or scheduling conflicts and assist with timely resolution.
- Communicate with transportation providers and follow up on delayed, damaged, or incomplete deliveries.
- Maintain organized logistics databases, spreadsheets, and electronic records.
- Assist with purchasing and procurement activities related to materials, supplies, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate returns, replacements, transfers, and other material movements as needed.
- Monitor logistics expenses and assist with maintaining accurate transportation and delivery records.
- Support process improvement initiatives designed to improve logistics efficiency and reduce delays.
- Collaborate with operations, project management, procurement, finance, and other departments to maintain efficient workflows.
- Perform additional logistics, administrative, and operational responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, inventory management, purchasing, operations, or administrative coordination is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with ERP, inventory management, warehouse management, purchasing, or transportation systems is a plus.
- Ability to communicate professionally with vendors, carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Dependable, proactive, and professional work ethic.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness to learn new systems, procedures, and logistics processes.

Work Environment
This position operates primarily in a professional office environment with regular interaction with vendors, suppliers, transportation providers, project teams, and operations personnel. Depending on business needs, the position may also involve occasional interaction with warehouse, storage, shipping, or project sites.
Daily responsibilities include shipment coordination, inventory tracking, vendor communication, documentation, scheduling, reporting, and operational support. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple logistics activities simultaneously.
