This engineering specialist position is part of a team located on-site at one of our industrial customers: Ford Motor Company at the Sharonville, Ohio Transmission Plant. The role consists of routine monitoring, data management and cost-savings projects related to two major areas: metalworking fluid systems required for aluminum and steel machining, and aqueous fluid systems required for part cleaning.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Share responsibilities of the engineering aspects pertaining to the chemical management contract
- The Chemical Engineering Specialist will create project ideas in the realm of cost-savings, consumable volume reduction or other operational efficiency improvement within target areas of plant production
- Troubleshoot and propose steps of resolution towards fluid-related operation issues
- Inspect both fluid and associated mechanical systems
- Review on-site and third-party lab results to develop understanding of fluid health as it compares to machining performance

Pay: $57,500.00 - $62,500.00 per year
