STRIVE U Teaching Assistant Full-time- $1,500 Sign-on Bonus

STRIVE U provides post-secondary education and training to young adults with intellectual disabilities in the realms of residential, employment, and community skills with the goal of enabling its graduates to live and work as full community members with maximum independence, productivity, and dignity.
We are looking for a dynamic individual for a part-time and a full-time TA position who is committed to providing students with an inclusive post-secondary academic experience. The schedule would be:
Full-time hours would be:
- Tue – 8am – 2pm
- Wed – 8am – 6pm
- Thu – 8am – 2pm
- Fri – 11am – 8pm
- Sat – 11am – 8pm
Part-time hours would be:
- Sat. - 12:00pm-8:00pm
- Sun. - 12:00-8:00pm
More hours may be available in other programs to make full-time for the successful candidate, if interested.
We are currently offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus + $250 if previously DSP certified!

Responsibilities & Requirements:
· Post-secondary education experience
· Experience with direct instruction in independent living skills, monitoring and documenting student progress preferred
· Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills
· Establish a healthy, safe and fun learning/living environment and serve as a positive role model
· Implement/teach residential curriculum and provide support to young adults with intellectual disabilities and complete daily record keeping duties
