Exciting Opportunity to build a career at UniMetal starting as a Packer/Sorter .
1st shift - 6 am to 2:30 pm
Trained on all safety/housekeeping & production procedures & methods.
Checks overall quality of work to customer specs& maintain on time delivery standards.
Effective written & verbal communication skills.
Effectively construct containers & pack materials.
Ability to calculate BBL's vs. cartons, pieces,weight, etc.
Verify travelers and pieces counts for all jobs.
Trained and proficient with the safe operationof a pallet jack.
Operate an air hoist properly and safely.
Maintain accurate department production andsafety records, spread sheets and logs.
Identify and describe use of all sorting tools.
Safety & Housekeeping/ Trained to departmentstandards, maintains a safe/clean dept.
Demonstrate how to read a Traveler efficiently
Capable of reading a MSDS
Demonstrated high motivational output
Maintain an outstanding Attendance/Safetyrecord.
Know & follow break time durations & know break locations.
