CDL Class A DriverPosition Overview
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to join our team. This position involves operating commercial vehicles safely and efficiently while assisting with loading, unloading, and handling materials. Candidates must be dependable, physically capable, and willing to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Report maintenance and repair issues promptly
- Load, unload, and transport materials, equipment, and tires as needed
- Secure cargo properly for safe transportation
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Maintain accurate delivery, pickup, and service records
- Provide professional customer service at customer locations
- Assist with general labor duties as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A License
- Clean driving record preferred
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- Pass a background check
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous CDL driving experience
- Doubles/Triples endorsement
- Experience in transportation, tire recycling, tire service, warehouse operations, or labor-intensive work
- Forklift experience
- Trailer handling experience
