Woodworker / Machine Operator ($16-20/hour based on experience; 8a-5p)
A small, local door shop is seeking a dependable and motivated Woodworker / Machine Operator to join the team. While prior woodworking experience is preferred, the shop is fully willing to train the right individual, making this an excellent entry-level opportunity for recent high school graduates looking to build a career in the trade.
The primary focus for this position is finding an individual who maintains a great attitude, demonstrates a strong willingness to learn, and prioritizes arriving on time every single day.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently according to shop standards.
- Run a sander and assist with finishing processes.
- Support general operations within a small team environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior woodworking experience is preferred, but not required (comprehensive on-the-job training is provided).
- Open to entry-level applicants, including recent high school graduates.
- Exceptional punctuality and dependable daily attendance are mandatory.
- A positive, coachable attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and operational instructions closely.
