At Jmkay Health Care Service LLC, we believe every individual deserves dignity, independence, compassion, and quality care. We are currently seeking caring, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our growing team supporting adults with mental health diagnoses in our Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), Community Residential Settings (CRS), and Integrated Community Support (ICS) homes.

Position Overview
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide compassionate, person-centered care and support to adults receiving mental health and community support services. DSPs help individuals build independence, strengthen daily living skills, and live fulfilling lives within their communities.
This role is ideal for individuals who are patient, dependable, compassionate, and committed to helping others succeed.
What You’ll Do
- Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Support emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs
- Encourage independence, confidence, and personal growth
- Provide medication reminders and/or medication administration as assigned
Person-Centered Support
- Implement individualized service and support plans
- Use trauma-informed and recovery-focused approaches
- Support positive coping skills and emotional regulation
- Maintain residents’ dignity, privacy, and cultural preferences
Community Engagement
- Promote community inclusion and social engagement
- Assist individuals with employment, volunteering, educational, and recreational activities
- Encourage healthy relationships and participation in community life
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete accurate daily documentation and incident reporting
- Follow all MDH, ALF, 245D, 245I, and company policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, the Vulnerable Adults Act, and Assisted Living Bill of Rights
Qualifications
We are looking for team members who are compassionate, reliable, and ready to grow in the healthcare field.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to pass background study and TB screening
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Available Shift Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
