Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician and become a vital part of creating comfortable, safe, and energy-efficient environments. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems operate smoothly and efficiently. Duties
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems according to schematics and HVAC design plans
- Perform system upgrades and modifications to optimize performance and energy efficiency
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment such as filters, belts, motors, and electrical components
- Troubleshoot system issues using tools like ohmmeters and diagnostic software; perform repairs on refrigeration units, appliances, plumbing connections, and mechanical components
- Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to ensure precise installation and repair procedures
- Utilize welding techniques for ductwork fabrication or repair when necessary
- Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all installations and repairs for quality assurance
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC installation or maintenance; construction background is highly valued
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in refrigeration systems, ammonia refrigeration (HVAC/R), plumbing, and boiler operations
- Ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans accurately; experience with property maintenance is a plus
- Skilled in equipment repair including welding, appliance repair, and general mechanical troubleshooting
- Field service experience with a focus on air conditioning systems and mechanical installations
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely
- Knowledge of electrical systems related to HVAC equipment; proficiency with ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems or HVAC/R certifications is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to work effectively in team environments

Pay: $27.12 - $35.00 per hour
