Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment and manual methods to uphold sanitation standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including counters, sinks, floors, and storage areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic workspace.
- Support catering setups by organizing supplies and assisting with food service as needed.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and hospitality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and cleaning procedures.
- Experience with food preparation or catering settings is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending comfortably.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques or culinary experience is advantageous but not required.
