Position: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Location: Lakeland, Florida
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $28–$34 per hour
Wedgewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated rehabilitation team. Evaluation & Care Planning: Collaborate with the therapy team to assess residents and assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
Promoting Independence: Support residents in performing daily living activities to enhance independence and confidence.
Therapeutic Support: Guide and monitor residents through prescribed therapy programs and exercises.
Rehabilitation Assistance: Assist residents in recovering from injury, illness, or surgery to help them reach their highest level of function.
Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality of all resident information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Active Florida COTA License (Required)
Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting is a plus, but not required
