Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 355-bed Duke Lifepoint hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and Cerner proficiency.

Work in the MRI department at a 355-bed acute care hospital with a Level 3 NICU, Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, and Orthopedics program
1 MRI unit at the main campus plus mobile and open MRI units at an affiliated imaging center
Equipment includes GE MRI at main campus, GE Mobile unit, and Open Hitachi MRI at imaging center
Uses Cerner EHR system
Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Weekend call rotation for STAT imaging requests, including Friday nights and Saturday/Sunday coverage
Every other weekend required
Potential to float to an outpatient imaging center approximately 5 minutes from the main campus
Perform stroke rule-out imaging and MRI with anesthesia
Cardiac imaging competency preferred

Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a local rate
Travelers must start on a designated facility orientation date
Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
Scrub color is flexible with no specified restrictions
