About This Opportunity
This position is with a local Texas Farm Bureau Insurance agency, where you'll work directly alongside an experienced insurance agent in a small, team-oriented office. As an Administrative Assistant, you'll play an important role in helping the agent provide outstanding customer service while keeping the office organized, efficient, and welcoming.

Position Overview
We're looking for a friendly, organized Administrative Assistant to become an essential part of our local agency team. This is much more than a front desk position—it's an opportunity to become the agent's trusted support person and help create an exceptional experience for every client who walks through our door or calls our office.
You'll work closely with the agent in a small, family-like office where teamwork is valued and everyone contributes to the success of the agency. Every day is different, and your ability to stay organized, communicate professionally, and provide outstanding customer service will make a real difference.

What You'll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients by greeting visitors and answering incoming phone calls professionally and warmly.
- Support the agent by managing appointments, calendars, and daily office operations.
- Assist clients with policy service requests, payments, basic account questions, and scheduling appointments with the agent.
- Prepare paperwork, organize client files, and maintain accurate records within agency systems.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, documents, and other office correspondence.
- Help maintain an organized, professional office environment.
- Assist with marketing activities, client follow-up, and community events as needed.
- Support the agent with day-to-day administrative responsibilities so they can focus on serving clients and growing the agency.
- Deliver exceptional customer service that helps build long-term relationships with clients.

What We're Looking For

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and learning agency software
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the entire team
- Previous administrative, receptionist, customer service, or office experience preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
