Adlai E Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, IL) is seeking a full-time 10 month Division Assistant for the Multilingual Learning Division for the 2025-2026 school year.
Description:
Division Assistant for the Division of Multilingual Learning is a full-time, 10-month position. The job goal is to support the Division of Multilingual Learning in the effective and efficient functioning of all facets of the operation of the office and job-related duties. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: processing and file management for documents including confidential records; working with the Director, Assistant Director, and Director's Assistant to support teachers; facilitating communication with students, teachers, and the community, as well as long-term projects.

Daily Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares written communication as requested (could include, but is not limited to: memos, minutes, reports, faculty schedules, etc.)
- Prepares and maintains records and reports as necessary (could include, but is not limited to: budgets, p-card reconciliation sheets, timesheets, staff attendance, form submission, field trips, final exams, travel forms, reimbursement paperwork, etc.)
- Assist in the management and operation of the assessment process
- Works with Director’s Assistant to coordinate substitutes in the Division
- Assists in managing incoming and outgoing communications from the Division, including welcoming visitors
- Works with Director’s Assistant in ordering and managing items (could include, but is not limited to: office supplies, books/workbooks, presentation/professional development materials, etc.)
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School or college degree
- Knowledge of office technology and procedures; experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Google Docs preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, parents and the community
- Ability to work productively in an active environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional discretion
- Strong organizational and record keeping skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently to meet deadlines
- Preference will be given to bilingual applicants
Salary:
SSSA Agreement (all support staff positions at Stevenson High School shall be paid no less than $18.00/hour). The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.
