Shingle Revival LLC is hiring a part-time roof soft wash and roof treatment applicator for residential asphalt shingle roofs in the Capital Region.
This is not roof replacement work. No tear-offs, no shingle installs, and no heavy roofing construction. The work involves soft washing/cleaning asphalt shingle roofs and applying a roof rejuvenation treatment using company-supplied spraying equipment.
This is a good fit for someone with roofing, soft washing, or general construction experience who is comfortable with ladders and residential exterior work.
Job
- W-2, part-time, flexible
- $30–$45/hr depending on experience and capability
- Minimum pay per scheduled job and can finish early
- Mileage reimbursement for approved business miles beyond the first 5 miles at $0.72/mile
- Soft wash and roof treatment spraying equipment supplied by company
- Roof treatment product supplied by company
Requirements
- Must have a reliable truck, van, or work vehicle and valid Driver's License
- Must have your own ladder suitable for residential exterior work
- Comfortable using ladders and working on/around residential roofs
- Comfortable with soft washing, spraying, rinsing, and exterior cleaning work
- Able to safely carry and operate equipment up to 50 pounds on an uneven roof surface
- Reliable, punctual, and able to communicate clearly
- Careful around siding, windows, gutters, landscaping, decks, patios, driveways, and customer property
- Able to follow written cleaning, application, and safety procedures
Job duties
- Arrive at residential job sites on time
- Set up ladder and work area safely
- Soft wash/clean asphalt shingle roofs as directed
- Apply roof rejuvenation treatment using company-supplied spray equipment
- Help protect customer property from overspray and runoff- rinse areas accordingly
- Take required before/after photos
- Clean up equipment and leave the property looking professional
Schedule
Part-time, job-by-job basis. Schedule is somewhat flexible and depends on weather, customer availability, and booked jobs. Most work will be during daylight hours in dry weather.
