As a Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist, you play a key role in supporting individuals and families navigating mental health challenges. You will provide direct, community-based services that help clients build stability, develop coping skills, and improve overall well-being.
Through consistent support, relationship-building, and therapeutic guidance, you’ll meet clients where they are—helping them make meaningful progress in their daily lives while working toward long-term stability.
Work Location: Community-based with travel

Founded in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania in 1967, The Bair Foundation is a Christian non-profit ministry serving children and families. We have provided quality care and services to children, youth, and families through a myriad of effective community-based services. Today, The Bair Foundation provides services in 9 states, including Kentucky, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

WHAT YOU BRING
· Education: High School Diploma with relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred
· Experience: 3+ years of experience working with individuals or families experiencing mental health or behavioral challenges
· Skills: Strong communication, relationship-building, documentation, and problem-solving skills
· Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and vehicle registration.
WHAT PUTS YOU AHEAD
· Experience in community-based mental health or behavioral health services
· Familiarity with treatment planning (ISP/ITP/CCP) and service coordination
· Ability to engage clients in home and community environments
· Comfort working independently while collaborating with a treatment team
