Experienced Veterinary Assistant – Companion Animal Wellness Center
Companion Animal Wellness Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing Fear Free and integrative veterinary practice.
We're looking for a compassionate, skilled professional who enjoys working closely with patients, clients, veterinarians, and RVTs to provide exceptional care. This is not an entry-level position.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with patient care, treatments, and procedures
- Anesthesic and surgical monitoring
- Blood draws and laboratory procedures
- Medical record documentation
- Client education and communication
- Fear Free patient handling
Qualifications:
- Veterinary Assistant experience required
- Strong animal handling and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork
- Dentistry and anesthesia experience preferred
- Exotic animal experience is a plus
