Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Regional Director of Maintenance to lead our maintenance teams across multiple facilities. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the maintenance operations, ensure the safety and functionality of mechanical and electrical systems, and drive continuous improvement in facility management. Your leadership will empower teams to deliver top-tier maintenance services, ensuring compliance with safety regulations while optimizing operational efficiency. Prior experience in a regional or multi-site experience is preferred.
Starting negotiable salary for this position is $90,000.00 annually; based on experience
The typical schedule for this opportunity is Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Start and end times are flexible based on community need. This position will require travel to multiple facilities across central and eastern Ohio.

Responsibilities
-
Lead and manage facilities maintenance teams across multiple communities, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence.

Oversee the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), and industrial equipment.

Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to schedule preventive maintenance, track work orders, and analyze performance metrics.

Supervise the repair of HVAC systems, mechanical systems, plumbing systems, electrical wiring (including schematics), and other building infrastructure using technical skills such as schematics interpretation and engineering troubleshooting.

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards by implementing rigorous safety protocols.

Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs from planning through execution while maintaining budgetary control.

Train team members on proper maintenance procedures, safety practices, and technical skills such as using ohmmeters for electrical testing or managing programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues early and implement proactive solutions to minimize downtime.

Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules that minimize disruption to residents and staff.
Requirements

Proven management experience supervising facilities or maintenance teams within manufacturing or healthcare environments.

Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems repair including HVAC (HVAC system repair), plumbing, electrical (high voltage/low voltage), and industrial maintenance.

Hands-on experience with schematics interpretation, engineering troubleshooting, electrical testing tools like ohmmeters, and managing complex mechanical or electrical projects.

Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking.

Strong understanding of safety regulations related to industrial maintenance, electrical work (including high voltage), plumbing systems, and general facilities management.

Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse teams effectively while fostering a safety-conscious work environment.

Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation, team coordination, and safety briefings.
