We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have background crankshaft grinding and the ability to work with precision measuring instruments. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain crank shaft grinding machines and other machining equipment to produce precision parts.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges to ensure accuracy.
- Assemble components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and improve production methods.
- Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in welding techniques is a plus.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are advantageous.
