We are seeking a CNC Machinist / Fabricator to join our production team. This unique role requires a rare combination of precision CNC machining skills and sheet metal fabrication expertise. You will be responsible for setting up, programming (or editing programs), and operating a diverse fleet of manufacturing equipment, ranging from precision mills to heavy-duty turret punches.

Key Responsibilities
- CNC Milling & Turning: Set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes to machine custom and production parts. Perform tool offsets, touch-offs, and edit G-code at the controller as needed.
- Laser Cutting: Load programs, adjust parameters, and operate CNC Laser Cutting machines to precision-cut sheet metal.
- Sheet Metal Fabrication: Set up and operate CNC Turret Punch Presses and Press Brakes to punch and form parts according to geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
- Blueprints & Inspections: Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and job routers. Perform first-article and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Maintenance & Safety: Perform daily preventative maintenance on machinery. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work cell.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC Mills/Lathes AND Sheet Metal Fabrication equipment (Press Brake, Laser, or Turret Punch). Cross-functional experience is highly preferred.
- Technical Skill: Solid understanding of G-code/M-code and controller interfaces (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Amada, etc.).
- Precision: Ability to hold tight tolerances (often within ±0.001”) and strong manual math skills for calculating dimensions and bend allowances.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended period
