We're growing, and we're looking for someone exceptional to join us as a Dental Assistant or Expanded Function Dental Assistant — a key clinical partner in delivering elevated, precise, and comfortable care.
The Role
This is a hands-on, patient-centered clinical position that plays a critical role in how our dentistry is delivered. You’ll work closely with our doctors to create a seamless, efficient, and high-touch experience — supporting everything from restorative procedures to patient comfort and education.
What You’ll Do Day-to-Day
- Assist chairside with restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures with efficiency and attention to detail
- Anticipate doctor needs and maintain a smooth, composed clinical flow throughout the day
- Prepare operatories thoughtfully in advance and maintain an exceptional standard of organization and cleanliness
- Capture high-quality digital radiographs and clinical photography to support diagnosis and case communication
- Work in a highly intentional clinical setting that includes Overjet Vision and Voice and a dedicated photography suite — allowing for a higher level of diagnosis, documentation, and patient communication
- Provide a calm, reassuring presence for patients — guiding them through each step of their visit with clarity and confidence
- Assist with impressions, temporaries, and expanded functions (for EFDA candidates)
- Maintain accurate, thorough clinical documentation within Open Dental
- Support morning huddles and stay closely aligned with the clinical team throughout the day
What We’re Looking For
- A detail-oriented assistant who takes pride in doing things the right way
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
- Strong clinical instincts and the ability to anticipate next steps
- Excellent communication skills — with patients and teammates
- Experience with digital dentistry (intraoral scanning, photography) preferred
- Experience with Open Dental (preferred) or another dental software
- EFDA certification (for expanded function candidates)
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Compensation & Details
Pay: Competitive, based on experience and certifications
Location: Allentown, PA — in-office position
Schedule: Full-time
