Personnel Placements LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator specializing in Incline and Rotary equipment to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating, setting up, and maintaining incline and rotary machines to produce high-quality components efficiently and safely. Duties
- Operate incline and rotary machines with precision, ensuring adherence to production specifications and quality standards.
- Set up machinery including calibration, tooling adjustments, and programming to optimize performance.
- Monitor machine operations continuously, making adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal output.
- Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions.
- Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on equipment, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and press brake machines.
- Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) drawings for accurate fabrication.
- Program CNC equipment using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software; interpret blueprints for complex machining tasks.
- Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse handling tools; assist with materials loading/unloading.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety protocols.
- Support quality control processes by inspecting finished products for defects or deviations from specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on tooling modifications or process improvements.
Requirements
- Proven factory experience operating incline/rotary machinery or similar manufacturing equipment.
- Proficiency with Fanuc controls, CNC programming, CAM programming, and CNC machining techniques.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar, and blueprint reading skills.
- Familiarity with various manufacturing tools including stamping presses, press brakes, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and fabrication equipment.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge of machining processes, tooling setups, and materials handling procedures.
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility with a focus on quality assurance and safety standards.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently.
- Valid forklift certification is preferred; hands-on experience with hand tools is essential.
