Edward Jones is seeking a
Senior Solution Architect to lead Online Access technology initiatives within the Digital Client Experience portfolio. This role is responsible for the design, development, and integration of products and services that support internal and client-facing digital platforms. As a strategic technology leader, you will partner with business leaders, architects, and engineering teams to drive scalable, secure, and reusable solutions, evaluate emerging technologies, and establish architecture best practices that enable future business growth.
What You Will Do:-
Lead solution architecture for Online Access products and services supporting client-facing and internal digital platforms.

Define and drive technology standards, architectural patterns, and scalable solution blueprints that support growth and operational efficiency.

Translate business, technical, and non-functional requirements into secure, resilient, high-performing solutions that meet SLAs.

Shape technology roadmaps and modernization strategies aligned with firm priorities, business objectives, and digital experience initiatives.

Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and vendor solutions to identify innovation and modernization opportunities.
-
Partner with architects, product leaders, and engineering teams to ensure architectural alignment, integration excellence, and successful delivery.

Improve platform stability, observability, resiliency, and operational effectiveness through continuous optimization and architecture governance.

Mentor technical teams and influence stakeholders while driving adoption of architectural best practices, design standards, and transformation initiatives.
What You'll Need:-
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

7+ years of technology experience, including 5+ years in solution, application, or enterprise architecture roles.

Experience with Microsoft Azure, cloud-based SaaS integrations, API management platforms, and modern digital architectures.

Deep expertise in enterprise solution design, architecture patterns, and multiple technology domains.

Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, resiliency, and performance optimization principles.

Ability to translate business objectives into technology strategies, roadmaps, business cases, proof-of-concepts, and architectural artifacts.

Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across matrixed organizations.

Proven ability to mentor teams, drive technology adoption, and communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred: Wealth management or financial services experience, with knowledge of business, security, and data architecture principles.
Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.
