Job Summary
We are a French bakery and pastry shop offering a wide selection of breads, pastries, and coffee drinks prepared with a professional espresso machine.
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Sales Assistant / Barista to join our team.
Main Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, efficient service
- Take orders and process payments using Square POS
- Prepare espresso-based drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and americano
- Prepare simple sandwiches and basic desserts
- Present and recommend our breads, pastries, and other products
- Restock and maintain attractive product displays
- Keep the counter, coffee station, and store clean and organized
- Open or close the store depending on the scheduled shift
- Handle the cash register and follow opening/closing procedures
- Help with simple customer orders and daily store operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bakery, café, coffee shop, or food service is preferred
- Barista experience is a plus, but training can be provided
- Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Food Protection Certificate required
- Availability to work weekends
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
