Job Title: Electronics Test Technician
Job Location: Fargo, ND 58102 (Onsite)
Duration: 12 month contract (potential for long-term extension based on performance and business needs)
Hours: 2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm (Mon-Fri, Training on the first shift will be required for as long as necessary)
Job Description:
Job Purpose:
Test electronic products to qualify for production readiness.
Job Duties:
1. Conduct manual test of electronic assemblies and document results..
2. Set up lab equipment per engineering instruction.
3. Perform maintenance on equipment and products.
Required Education:
A.S. in Electronics or a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification or equivalent experience
Required Experience:
Required (Must Have): Minimum one year of related experience
Preferred (Not mandatory): Three or more years of related experience
Required Skills: (Must have):
1. Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
2. Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheets, and word processing.
3. Understanding of trouble shooting methodologies to identify root cause.
4. Ability to read and comprehend engineering documents, e.g., schematics or diagrams.
5. Ability to maintain necessary product records and documentation.
6. Ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills (Nice to have/not mandatory):
1. Strong mechanical aptitude
2. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and electronic components
3. Knowledge of test equipment, e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
4. Experience in one or more of the following areas:
a. Electronics
b. Electrician/Electrical contracting
c. On-road/off-road Automotive repair
d. Communication/Networking hardware
e. Robotics, automation, or mechatronics
f. Farming

- Do you have hands-on experience testing electronic assemblies and using test equipment such as multimeters or oscilloscopes?

- Are you comfortable working onsite in Fargo, ND, Monday–Friday, from 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, and available to train on 1st shift as required?
