We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of electrical installations and repairs.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and industrial environments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform electrical tasks safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot issues with low voltage systems, logic controllers, and other electrical components.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on tasks.
Skills
- Proficient in electrical work with experience as a commercial or industrial electrician.
- Strong understanding of low voltage systems and logic controllers.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
- Familiarity with testing equipment such as ohmmeters for diagnosing electrical issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for safe installations and repairs.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
