Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aiding the smooth operation of our portfolio through various maintenance tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and maintain company equipment.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Conduct residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents and clients.
- Produce brief reports of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Assist in the development of preventive maintenance schedules.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience with facilities maintenance practices and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry and drywall repair techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must have tools and a vehicle. Company vehicles and tools are available as needed, but not as primaries.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
